Talking With Your Doctor
If you're suffering from persistent, frequent constipation or on a bowel training program because of a disease of injury, you need some answers and most of all, you need relief. That's why it's important to talk with your doctor about switching to Enemeez® . If you have been using a bisacodyl product and experiencing episodes or incontinence, prolonged toileting times, persistent and frequent mucous discharge then now is time to have a serious discussion with your Doctor or Healthcare Provider. You don’t have to live with these symptoms any longer.
Here are some tips for making the most of your doctor or healthcare appointment.
Complete and bring your daily bowel chart and diet chart along with a list of any complications to your Doctor. Bowel and Diet Charts are included in the Diet and Preventing Incontinence Section of this website.
Be specific. Be as detailed as possible. Tell your doctor what symptoms you have, when they usually occur, how often you are having an incontinence episode, the length of time of your bowel program, any prolonged discharge after completing your bowel care program and what triggers your symptoms. You no longer need to live with discharge and incontinence episodes from your bowel care product.
Describe the impact on your daily activities. Do your symptoms get in the way of things you want or need to do—such as sleeping, eating, working or exercising? Be sure to share this with your doctor and the impact they are having on your life.
List your current medicines and any past drug side effects and allergic reactions. This helps your doctor identify any possible drug combinations that may cause problems for you. Please refer to the lists available on this website of facilities and distributors which use and sell Enemeez® for constipation or bowel training. If you have any additional questions on using Enemeez® prior to speaking with your healthcare provider or would like to bring samples to your appointment, please phone our patient assistance coordinator. 888.273-9734 ext. 203.
